Beautiful! Looks like a lady's necklace jewel, full of charm! Thanks for your comment on my 3 mills. No, it's not a river but a canal. The lower parts of Holland have lots of small canals to drain the superfluous water. The mills pump the water into the canals so that the land will remain dry enough for the cattle and for the people to build houses on. Nowadays we don't use the windmills anymore for that purpose, we now have engine-driven pumps which are not dependent on wind. These mills are preserved as kind of "monuments". There are still thousands of these windmills in the Netherlands, traditionally used for water pumping, corn grinding, wood sawing, oil pressing, paper manufacturing etc.

@Illuci: Thank you Illuci for the details, I have seen such wind mills only in Age of empires lol... I appreciate the idea those people had in those days … The series of photos posted on wind mills are excellent..

@Marion: Thanks a lot
Beautiful. It works because of the background that is so dark on the left but lightens moving right.

@Krisu: Thanks a lot
Dear Mithun, you asked for a picture of the interior of a mill. I only made one picture and show it the day after tomorrow, but it's a shot taken from inside to outside so the living room from where it was taken, is pretty dark and you see another mill outside.
